After graduating with a Law Degree in 1973, Philip joined Cottrills in 1974 and was made a Partner in the firm shortly after qualifying in 1976. He is now the Senior Partner and head of the Personal Injury department.
His career has been centred on all aspects of personal injury work and he has renowned expertise in dealing with credit hire claims, including taxi hire.
Philip has been involved in high profile cases in both the Court of Appeal and House of Lords.
Philip has two sons and is married to Anne Irwin, head of the firms property department. In his spare time he enjoys music, photography and attending the Theatre of Dreams.
